The Golden State Warriors are looking for an Assistant to help implement our technical and media management strategy for Warriors Studio. In this role, you will develop a solid understanding of our media management workflow and partner with editors and producers to ensure content is delivered with consistent quality and timeliness. The ideal candidate will have a passion for new technological tools, strategies and the ability to learn the Studio asset management system. This position reports to the Senior Media Manager.

This is a full-time position and is based in San Francisco, CA.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in Warriors Studio media management workflow through HPE Greenlake storage solution and CATDV database
Assist in managing archival system using on-prem object storage, LTO, and Google Cloud systems
Process requests for highlights, historic clips, and partner activations for all Golden State entities
Troubleshoot with producers, writers, editors on media management
Provide a “first line of defense” support for Adobe Creative Suite
Help maintain the technical operations of all edit and ingest stations within Warriors Studio
Assist in the logging, cataloging and inputting of metadata
Assist in processing all internal and external video and audio requests
Ensure that deadlines are met and that videos meet the required codec standards
Provide overall support for editing, shooting and production in Warriors Studio

Required Experience & Skills
Bachelor's degree, preferably in video or film production, or equivalent work experience
1 year media management experience in a production facility
Experience cataloging media assets in one or more large scale databases
Proficiency in organizing video files and transfers across local and remote servers and storage networks
Familiarity with video fundamentals (i.e., frame rates, sync and timecode), audio and lighting for video, color correction, editing, video file formats and properties, video transcoding principles, and media asset life cycles in a production environment
Attention to detail, and ability to maintain accuracy and precision across multiple records
Ability to assess and adjust attention to assigned workflows as needed; suggest and provide alternatives as needed
Ability to build positive working relationships with clients and peers across the organization
Ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment
Time Commitment
Ability to work in a 24/7 shift-based environment, with possible weekend or overnights shifts if necessary
Compensation
$28.00 - $30.00 Per Hour + Bonus
